Villa De Los Santos- The Fiesta de Corpus Christi is held from Thursday to Sunday 40 days after Easter and is one of the wildest festivals in the country. Another notable festival in this town, held from late April/early May, is the Feria de Azuero which includes folkloric dancing, agricultural events and competitions among local singers performing regional songs. Do not join in the competitions unless you have had a few drinks.

Pedasi- Pedasi holds patron saint festivals from June 29th to November 25th, or the nearest Saturday. These are great because they include long parades and day-long revelry. On July 16th, a festival is held for local fisherman at Playa Arenal.

Las Tablas- For a truly rowdy Carnival, head over to Las Tablas during the four days prior to Ash Wednesday. Another site to behold is on July 21st when beautiful young women model Polleras in the Fiesta de La Pollera.
