Bocas del Toro Restaurants

Limongrass-Situated on Bocas’ lake-like waterside, Limongrass is a self-proclaimed “Asian Fusion” restaurant. It sits on the second floor of a dive shop and the décor is very relaxed. The restaurant offers an innovative creation in its “sushi sandwich” as well as a splendid take on a traditional fish and chips. Reservations are not needed but could be helpful on a crowded Friday or Saturday night.

The Reef-While you’re dining on the water’s edge its hard to complain about anything. Slow service suddenly is distracted by amazing sunsets, normal food is oddly considered stunning, and high prices are somehow justified. The Reef is the poster child for this phenomenon. Take one part fresh seafood, one part perfect scenery, and one part carefree Friday evening, and you’ve got the perfect meal.

Restaurant Kum Ja- Try one of Bocas’ many ethnic restaurants for a night of ethnic flare. Restaurant Kum Ja offers up Chinese specialties, Om puts out some great East Indian fare, and is a wonderful vegetarian alternative. The flavors and spices at these restaurants will cure any exotic palate.
