The ocean is generally extremely calm, almost lake-like, so you’ll be enjoying the reflection of the sunset–this brilliant ruby sheen—all around you. Recount the day’s adventures with your mates or trade stories with fellow travelers as the day slowly turns into night.

Put the lime in the Coconut-Wander through the town of Bocas and its bustling main street while perusing homemade crafts, traditional molas, and other delicate artwork. Sit down for some fresh coconut juice in the town square on a weekend afternoon, and try to figure out how you’re going to describe this place to people at home.

Tequila Sunrise- Head out to one of Bocas’ few island-based restaurants, where waves roll up under the dining room floor and wind blows through the kitchen. Grab your favorite beverage and enjoy the dolphins swimming bye or the monkeys off in the distant trees. Crawl Cay is located by boat, 15 minutes from Bocas town.

Mondo Taitu-Monday night is 80s night…and what a night it is. Young travellers from all over the world dance, mingle and drink the night away.

Aqua Lounge-Tuesday night is Ladies’ Night at this gorgeous over-the-water hostel. Filled with both locals and young raucous travellers, drink free and jump on the water trampoline until morning.

Red Frog Beach-The best beach in Panama! Sparkling blue Carribbean water and white sand stretch for miles. Walk down the beach a little and not a person will be in sight.
