Two Residential Projects Change Plans To Include Hotels

Los Faros de Panama Project Rendering
It was made public this week that two of Panama’s most grandiose real estate projects have modified their plans (again) to include space for a hotel. This unfortunately will not solve the existing hotel room shortage in Panama City, where tourists, businessmen and other visitors are finding hotel vacancy harder to encounter than a vegetarian in Texas.
Grupo Mall’s gigantic Los Faros project will dedicate space in two of its three towers to luxury hotel space. This was announced by the Spanish development company’s president, Julio Noval.
F&F Properties’ mysterious Ice Tower was at one time claiming to have its eyes set on the claim of building Latin America’s tallest tower (104 stories) but that plan was scrapped. The project re-emerged as Star Bay Tower, a commercial office building that will apparently now include a Hilton hotel as once of its residents.
