Trivia Night in PTY: The Londoner, Mondays, 7:30, Be There.
Since i’ve moved to Panama a little spot in my delicate heart has been softly aching. Why so tortured? I asked myself all those sleepless nights. Until one magical day it hit me like a bolt of greased lightning, “you haven’t played trivia in weeks.” And there’s the culprit.
For trivia lovers, saying “playing trivia” doesn’t really do it justice. It’s more of a lifestyle. I can proudly (or dorkily?) say, that i’ve been “involved” in a trivia “challenge” anywhere from Boston, Massachussets to Paris, France. Yes, I seek out trivia nights. I am a trivia junkie.
So last night i’m at my new favorite bar, The Londoner, and I think “this is where it is…Trivia Night.” Calm and collectedly I hash out the idea with friends, then I make my approach. Peers is his name, for trivia, he’s game. Peers, owner of the Londoner digs my idea.
I’m going to do it in Beantown style: four quarters with four questions each, one song to answer the question, a picture round after the 2nd quater and a sliding point round after the 3rd quarter, and to top it all off, yes, a final question.
If you want a good time, a tasty brew and some mental exercise come to The Londoner on Monday night at 7:30.
