Panama Top 10: Things to do on Saturday

Coming from a city where on Saturdays people drink coffee to-go and write papers at cafes has brought on a Saturday Identity Crisis: we no longer have homework, and there aren’t many cafes in Panama City. Despite the helpful suggestions from our co-workers like “sneak into hotel pools and pick up girls,” we decided to investiage and compile a list ourselves.
1. Ride bikes on The Causeway at sunset.
2. Take the boat to Isla Taboga.
3. Go to Crepes and Waffles for a late breakfast.
4. Walk around Omar Park, which used to be a private Golf Course.
5. Drink smoothes from and sneak into a hotel pool (actually so fun, though WE don’t hit on older women by asking them if they have any sunscreen) El Panama is the best although Veneto has a great rooftop view.
6. Go to the luxurious movie theatre Extreme Planet with cushy recliners and waiters.
7. Pick out some cheap earrings at La Arrocha to wear out that night.
8. Try the different cream cheeses at NY bagel and lounge on the couches.
9. Go to Excedra books and browse the decent English section.
10. Get a pedicure/manicure for ten dollars.
