Since When is Panama Eco-Fuel Friendly?

Since it decided to be a model for the rest of the world in terms of clean burning fuel. Panama is about to finalize a 6.5 billion dollar investment building a clean-burning fuel refinery on its’ Atlantic coast. The refinery will have the capacity to process 250,000 barrels of125 octane ZERO emission fuel daily. To create this fuel, the Panamanian refinery will use new arc-plasma technology and gasification of prime materials with no solid or gas waste. Even better, the refinery will not require smoke stacks unlike traditional refineries. Executive Director of the project, Farid Seif, has reported that this new fuel could greatly help with the current global warming situation.

I agree panama is not so eco friendly, there is no recycling anywhere and open burning is common, still there is an awful lot of unspoiled nature that is protected by the goverment, i own an international backpackers hostel http://www.bambuhostel.com bambu hostel is trying hard to be a green hostel but it aint easy, lets hope for a cleaner future in Panama with that refinery.
