Santa Clara, Panama- Los Camisones is the Place to Be
Los Camisones Restaurant- Santa Clara Panama
Feeling freakily like Will Smith in “I am Legend” on Easter weekend in Panama City, we jumped into the car and took the long drive to to Pedasi to find some form of humanity, making a stop for lunch at Los Camisones.
Los Camisones is hard to find. Making a sharp right-turn up a dirt road after a tiny sign didn’t make me a believer that this was the “best place to eat near Santa Clara” as I had been told.
Pulling into the parking lot, I could see where the entire population of Panama City had gone. There was no apocalypse, just Los Camisones. Mostly every table was filled with friends laughing, cute babies, families bonding, all up a hidden path on the highway!
Because of the busyness it took a while for our food to come (45 minutes) but our waiters diligently refilled our water glasses and bread basket. The large menu has a selection of fish, seafood, chicken, meat and salad choices as a well as a desert section. Everybody tried a different seafood dish and they were all rated delicious. The next time the city is deserted we will know where everyone has gone: the best restaurant near Santa Clara!

Just a correction for this article, Los Camisones is not at Santa Clara, the town name is La Ermita the last Panama province town in the border with Cocle province were is Santa Clara. I know this by fact because I was born and raise there.
You are right Los Camisones serve fresh and great foood.
What Zuleyka wrote is true, but nevertheless is only a 5 minute drive from Santa Clara Beach, which is better known than La Ermita.
