Fisherman Request ANAM Make Repeals in Pedasi

Friday, February 22nd 2008, the Municipal Council of Pedasí asked ANAM, the National Authority of the Atmosphere to suspend the effects of Resolution N° 0034, established this January. The resolution has hurt local fisherman who make their living off of the now protected ocean area around Pedasi and Isla Iguana. The council has also asked for a meeting with the administrator of ANAM, Ligia Castro.
