Fake Boobs in Panama

Since I arrived in Panama I feel like the woman with no boobs. Like the British actress Jane Birkin. My apologies, Jane.
For some reason, many women in Panama have fake breasts. I can only describe them with one word — HUGE! They are everywhere, you can’t miss them, they almost look like they are going to explode in your face. Even as a woman you can’t stop staring at them. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against fake breasts when they are well done and with a volume to fit your frame. One of my best friends had a boob job a few years ago and I completely supported her decision. She didn’t feel feminine before, so she chose a very good plastic surgeon and he did a very good job on her. They look very natural and they are in harmony with her body.
Unfortunately in America doctors can advertise their services in newspapers or on television, just like any supermarket or cars dealer. Don’t you think doctors should not be allowed to advertise their services like a product?
I am afraid if one day I have a daughter she is going to ask me for a boob job for her 16th birthday so she can be like those teenagers on TV. I will tell her that if she really wants one she can work at McDonalds to pay for it. I am very open-minded but there are limits we should teach our kids today. Any plastic surgery should be done when you are not a teenager anymore, so that your body is completely grown. Going to a plastic surgeon should not be like choosing what flavor of frozen yogurt you want.
It’s sad that plastic surgery has become such a huge business today. I think it should be done only if you had an accident or if you have a huge complex about your body. I would like to know what men really think about the subject. Fifteen years ago, when boob jobs started to become popular, I heard that many men liked it. Today, many men have been in relationships with women with fake breasts and the feedback is changing. They are too round, too firm, and not nearly so comfortable for use as pillows, which men love doing.
What about the women that are wearing those huge melons? Do they feel more sexy, feminine, and attractive? Sorry girls, but most men are making fun of you, and worse they are comparing you to haw..r [??] sometimes. Is that the kind of image you want to project? Please be honest with yourself and think about the image you really want to project. Do you want men to look at your cleavage or your eyes? Do you want them to compare you to one of those big breasty actresses or see the unique person that you really are?

wao Pascale, imagine the quantity of girls have it, here is really popular and more in the models, and in the girls that works on tv, imagine that i was one day with 5 that have it, 5 in the same room, i was the only one without that…is incredible for you but well for the more quantitie of girrls that stay in this media is normal
Im with you Pascale! Being small chested myself, I have often thought about having implants. But the risk of surgery and then having something artificial in my chest just turns me off. Also, I have heard that some doctors here in the states, won’t even do small implants! They say “the woman will just be disappointed” !? Why would she be disappointed? Because she doesn’t look like a porn star? Thanks, but no thanks! I want to look balanced not trashy!
Being a guy, I love looking at them, I can’t deny it. BUT I would not want to be in a relationship with a women who had them. To me it is an indicator of major self image issues, which probably means other issues as well. I can see that there would be exceptions for women who had virtually no breasts who wanted to look more feminine, but as to the girls in the picture above, I’m happy just to look.
I feel sorry for the girl who is so insecure that she feels she has to submit to what she thinks men want in a woman. As a surgeon and a woman I can only be very critical of my collegues who perform those boobs jobs in teens that dont have a real idea of their body and dont know what they really want and what dangers they put their body on.
Just curious, how would women feel about males having surgical enhancements ? Men can get chest implants to give them bodybuilder pecs, or 6 pac implants, or tummy tucks or………
In terms of women I agree with the above comments re: it being indicative of self image problems etc. Often this will show itself in a need and willingness to be loved “by many” to prove their desirability. Not sure if I would want a women like that myself.
But looking I admit to. How can you miss when it is flaunted and exhibited like some kind of macabre trophy
My ex asked me if I thought she should get a boob job..She is Panamanian, petite, not flat and has a cute little body. She is in her late 30’s, strong personality and intellegent. Her asking me that just kind of made she think of the ridiculous societal pressure in Panama for women to have this done. I told her NO..that I didn’t think it would be a good idea and that it would be a turn-off for her to have big ones on a small frame….I mean..shit ..im no George Clooney or Brad Pitt…Maybe thats why she dropped me like a bad habit..I dont look like those guys and I didn’t want to pay for a boob job for her..I’m just a simple gringo who came to Panama to get away from that type..If I want that I can find a pile of columbianas from Cali at any good club in PTY for a night of fun, but not for a girlfriend
You are so mistaken…I can automatically tell you are NOT from Panama and cannot tell a Panamanian woman from a Colombian one….I am currently long boning over 24 Panamanian woman here (none over 25) and NOT one of them have fake boobs and none of their friends do either…about 80% of the women I see in Panama who do have fake boobs are NOT Panamanian….they are Colombian or from Venezuala….
There are some that do have them BUT no where near the percentage of American women….Most women that have fake boobs are VERY insecure and have low self estem…I actually did a survey wih about 20 of my buddies and NONE of them liked women with fake boobs…..they also taste like “rubber chicken”…..
You are so mistaken Ben: I am Panamanian and used to come here for 31 years. Hehehe
i agree with mot of the other posts.
as a man, even if you don’t like to look… you will… unless you forcibly avert you eyes and distract yourself from them. which sucks, considering that they’ll probably be distracting you from doing something or focusing in the first place. furthermore, if you’re in a serious relationship, like myself, they can get you “in trouble” or just create unnecessary stress if your girlfriend is like most women and isn’t particularly thrilled about you looking at hot women/other women’s body parts/women in general.
for most guys, i believe fake boobs are just a “thrill” from a moment, and girls who have them aren’t really the type of girl a guy seeks to settle down with.
the insecurity or body issues present in SO MANY women who get implants can and most likely will be a major problem. the fact of the matter is, most women who get cosmetic surgery are throwing their money (or their husband’s/boyfriend’s) down the drain. most times, the real issue isn’t addressed and she just finds something else to be unhappy with, which leads to the next surgery…. or so is said.
i also agree that, in the fewer cases., where women are extremely flat and merely seeking a way to feel more feminine… and it’s not to make their boobs huge, or flaunt them and it actually addresses the issue, i support it wholeheartedly.
