Commerce Between Panama and China Grew 43% in ‘07

According to a recent article by the Latin Business Chronicle, business between China and Latin America grew a staggaring 49% to over $51 BILLION in 2007. Brazil is the top trade partner with the Asian Tiger, boasting $29 billion in trade with China.
The growth by percentage in trade with China among Latin nations were Colombia and Agrentina, whose trade increased 90.7% and 73.6%, respectively.
Panama posted 43.1% growth, putting it among China’s fastest growing Latin trade partners.
