Windsurf the one of a kind waves!

Hotel Tilawa offers windsurfing lessons, board rentals, and instruction. Lake Arenal is considered to be one of the best three windsurfing spots in the world. Take a dip in the hot springs!

Tabacon Resort has the most popular, upscale hotsprings, featuring hot tubs, water slide, swim-up bar, waterfall, and 12 pools of varying temperatures. Various spa treatments such as massages, manicures, and aromatherapy are available, as well as a restaurant. Admission is $35, $19 after 7pm for children. Hours: 9am-10pm. Phone: 2519-1900.

Baldi Termae is another option if you choose not to spring for Tabacon. There are many pools of varying temperatures surrounded by flowers and foliage. There is also a swim-up bar and restaurant. Admission is $20. Phone: 2479-9652.
