Wild and Costa RiCrazy!

Crazy Monkey Bar is located at the Tamarindo Vista Villas with fabulous views, a pool, and a bar. It’s the place to be on Friday for Ladies’ Night while other live and DJ music plays throughout the week! (Also featured on Wild on E! Costa Rica a couple of years ago).

Hotel California is an eclectic bar off of the main “strip’’ of Tamarindo. Plush couches furnish the floor and beads hang from the ceiling, giving this place a retro feel. Dancing gets underway late in the night, too! They also have occasional theme nights, which can be fun!

El Pescador is a small typical bar located directly on the beach just past the cul-de-sac. It is open 24/7, or at least till the crowds disappear. This is the best place to continue the party, on a calm level, until the sunrises and you can go play in the ocean again. Typical food is also served at all hours of the day.

Babylon is the town reggae bar. This is the place to go on Saturday nights, and you will find a mixture of tourists and locals. The bar staff is arrogant and don't know how to mix a beverage, but the prices are average and the crowds are constant. The bar is quite large with a dance section under the stars. Drugs are a growing problem however, so beware.
