Mansion Arenal

La Mansion Inn Arenal is a cozy resort made up of 17 romantic cottages and villas. It is located in La Union, about 25 minutes from the touristy La Fortuna area, on a quiet, remote edge of Lake Arenal. Guests can enjoy horseback riding, a sunset cruise of the lake with volcano viewing, and various lake activities all in a beautiful location.

Each cottage or villa has its own color scheme and luxurious interior design that makes you think you are in the European country side. The hotel's own fleet of horses will take you exploring over the hills where you will find a unique combination of wildlife including monkeys, orchids and many species of aquatic and tropical birds.

Despite lacking a direct view of the Arenal Volcano, guests are given the option of taking a sunset lake cruise to one of the best viewing areas in the region, at the foot of the volcano. They may also visit the volcano or La Fortuna, both of which are about 20 minutes away by car.
