La Fortuna Hotels

Los Lagos I found was an excellent Hotel and Spa, as the volcano can be seen at night from there in case of an eruption. I was there once for New Years Eve; the volcano was quite active at the time, and the sky was incredibly clear. I cannot say it happened at midnight, but while the volcano was offering us one of its best performances, lava started to fly in all directions!
