Last time I went to Arenal, I had the chance to visit many different hotels. Believe me, there is a hotel in this area for every different kind of person!

Arenal Mansion has the most beautiful lake view I have ever seen in between the mountains. Not only that, but cute little cottages that overlook the lake and a horse pasture… I can’t think of anything more romantic. Lost Iguana, is for the those who like nature and the look of wood! Everything is wood, the bed frame, the floors, the walls, the fixtures…..too much wood for me, but if you love gardens and acres of walking trails, this place is perfect! Tabacon, who doesn’t like Tabacon! This is the most well-known resort, over priced, but also I have never seen hot springs more amazing than these. And Kioro, possibly my favorite, only one year old, 4 stars, amazing views of the volcano, jacuzzis in every room, and great style! Hope this helps next time you are trying to pick up the perfect Costa Rica hotel for you.
