Trip Down South

Well I’m headed down to Golfito today and then on to the Playa Pavones (Which is said to have the longest left surf break in the world. Supposedly, on a good day the surf breaks clean for over a kilometer and it is easier to get out of the water and walk back than paddle to back to the line-up.).

From what I’ve read and the pictures that I’ve seen, Pavones seems like a very gentle break with not soft breakers, which is just what the doctor ordered after the harsh weekend I had at Playa Hermosa. I might even rent a longboard and try to ride the nose.
