After 30 toilsome days, a winner in the Costa Rican Vacations first annual in-house Tom Selleck-like Moustache Competition 2007 has been chosen. The voter turn out was strong, and the competition fierce. After a petitioned recount, we have the results: Alan is the winner!!

Costa Rica Competition — Tom Selleck Moustache

Alan hails from Galway, Ireland. As a child his favorite activity was watching reruns of Magnum P.I. while wearing stick-on moustaches. While his family always thought he would grow to meet Selleck’s 6′4” stature, the 1980s potato famines in Ireland left him with a limp and stunted growth.

Alan gave 100 percent in his battle to grow the most Selleck-like moustache, and on the final day of competition, actually became Mr. Selleck. His efforts will not go unrewarded. He will be receiving a pair of genuine Selleck-issue Short Shorts.
