Oasis within the City Center of Costa Rica

On Saturday there was a company get together called, The Frog Dollar Auction. Frog Dollars are fake dollar bills that are used as incentives for tasks or goals. For those without cars or for those who did not wan tot drive there was a bus that picked us up at the office and took us to the location. We drove down the highway towards the airport and I was thinking where could we be going?

Well we ended up at a lovely location just beneath a small neighborhood. It was a park with football (soccer) fields, a basketball court, a pool, pond, and a few cows. From my experience being here, it has been nice weather until about 1ish and then it clouds over and rains. We must have driven further enough away from work to have escaped this particular pattern. It did rain but just not until way later. The day was perfect for family fun and games with the sun shining and the heat blasting. It was great.

TVs, iPods, umbrellas, folders, and trips were auctioned off and the day was a success. Who knew that right next to the airport was this piece of an oasis!
