For nature lovers, Monteverde is a great place to see! In my opinion, the top attraction there is the National Park, which contains one of the only cloud forests in the world.

The cloud forest is really a beautiful sight- huge towering trees, many birds, butterflies and animals (although I am sad to say when I visited I did not see any) and magnificent views! It is really interesting to see how clouds will periodically descend over the forest and then clear up to reveal amazing views of hills covered with endless trees. This is definitely a place that will really cause you to appreciate the wonders of mother nature!
