La Mansion Arenal (the cottages are great for couples)

I visited La Mansion Arenal this weekend, for those of you
who do not know this hotel it is a small boutique hotel about 30-40
minutes outside La Fortuna on the way to Nuevo Arenal around the lake.
The Hotel has a variety of small cottages that overlook the lake and
are very vibrantly decorated in a Costa Rican Flemish style. The
thing that distinguishes this hotel is the fact that the service is
personal and always ready to help and the feel of the place is warm
and friendly.

The hotel has a pool which is heated, massage services, wonderful
restaurant and bar with a lounge area where there is a billiards table
and internet services. Currently they are building a 16 person
Jacuzzi next to the pool with a deluxe honeymoon cottage above with
some of the best views on the property.

The cottages are great for couples or even families however be sure to know that there is about a 45 minute drive from Arenal and also that
there are no volcano views. This is a great honeymoon hotel or
relaxing hotel away from the hustle of La Fortuna.
