I visited La Mansion Arenal this weekend, for those of youÂ
who do not know this hotel it is a small boutique hotel about 30-40Â
minutes outside La Fortuna on the way to Nuevo Arenal around the lake.Â
  The Hotel has a variety of small cottages that overlook the lake andÂ
are very vibrantly decorated in a Costa Rican Flemish style.  TheÂ
thing that distinguishes this hotel is the fact that the service isÂ
personal and always ready to help and the feel of the place is warmÂ
and friendly.

The hotel has a pool which is heated, massage services, wonderfulÂ
restaurant and bar with a lounge area where there is a billiards tableÂ
and internet services. Currently they are building a 16 personÂ
Jacuzzi next to the pool with a deluxe honeymoon cottage above withÂ
some of the best views on the property.

The cottages are great for couples or even families however be sure to know that there is about a 45 minute drive from Arenal and also thatÂ
there are no volcano views.  This is a great honeymoon hotel orÂ
relaxing hotel away from the hustle of La Fortuna.
