Costa Rica Travel Agency Tries Alternative Online Advertising
With the increasing worldwide popularity of websites like YouTube and Facebook, both driven by user content, web savvy companies continue to find new ways to incorporate sales and marketing into the ever changing online canvas. Here in Costa Rica that is no exception. The luxury travel agency Costa Rican Vacations just recently released a promotional video that takes advantage of their employees’ musical talent, mixing entertainment with an informative representation of the company’s services.
Led by travel consultant J.S., an accomplished freelance rapper, Niki Noon on vocals, and company owner Tony Silva as “wing man”, the trio provides an engaging and rhythmical portrayal of what Costa Rican Vacations is all about. Slesnick, who has also done freestyle performances on Costa Rica’s 106.0 Radio Station, takes on an exaggerated Eminem style white rapper persona with a sideways cap and aviator shades to promote the company to the middle and upper class population.
“We’ll give you the vacation you’ve got on your mind, just remember we’re exclusively top of the line. We’ll provide you with the comforts, show you the sites… we don’t work with hotels under a hundred a night,” go the cleverly constructed lyrics that poke friendly fun at the agency’s high end principles.
So far the video has been a hit on Google Videos where it was originally posted as a fun way to get the company’s name out there, while showing the public that they have a good sense of humor and as well as showcasing the company’s musically inclined staff. Rap on Costa Rican Vacations…
