Little Seoul Restaurant in Rohrmoser, Costa Rica
If you happen to be traveling in San Jose and desire a break from the busy downtown area, I have a recommendation for you! Rohrmoser, to the West of San Jose, is a suburban tree-lined area where the U.S. Embassy is located.  Many B&B’s, restaurants, shopping plazas and parks fill the spaces between homes and offices. My favorite section of Rohrmoser is near Plaza Mayor, as I enjoy the views from this elevated spot. Directly across the street from Plaza Mayor is also where one of my all-time choice Costa Rica restaurants, Little Seoul, is found.

Costa Rica Restaurant — Little Seoul
Not only does Little Seoul have fine Korean and Japanese fare, the atmosphere is also charming. It has a rich mahogany interior with tables accommodating any size group arranged so that one always feels comfortable. Special touches such as hot towels for the table make the experience all the more unique.
Throughout your meal, you’ll enjoy efficient staff service. Moreover, Little Seoul’s comprehensive and reasonably priced menu is suitable for vegetarians and non-veggies alike. While the restaurant is known by locals as the best sushi around, I highly recommend the “Bi Bim Bop” for its array of fresh vegetables and rice (steak version is available). My favorite part about this dish is the presentation, with each vegetable separately placed in a large bowl; mixing it all together and adding the right amount of chili sauce is also a preference and delight of mine. A nice pot of green tea is a must (its anti-oxidants are beneficial!) and a scoop of earthy sweet green tea ice cream is the perfect ending to a delicious meal.
Weekends tend to be busier, so a reservation is recommended: (506) 232-5551
