If you are in San Jose and your favorite team from back in the States has a huge game this coming weekend, most likely you’re are freaking out right now not knowing if you’re going to be able to watch it….  Relax.  If you head to the suburb Savanah Sur right across from the Parque Metropolitano la Savanah you will find an American Oasis.  You will feel like you’re back at your favorite bar from your college years, Top of The Stairs if you went to Virginia Tech, Let’s Go Hokies!!!  This bar has two floors, each floor with its own bar so you won’t have to go up and down the stairs. 

 For your Entertainment there are pool tables, tv’s all over the place, and the waitresses aren’t to bad either.  The true attraction here at Mac’s American Bar is the simple fact that they get Direct TV, so there is always a 99% chance they’ll have the game you want to see.  Also because there are so many tv’s you won’t have a problem getting the staff to put your game on at least one of the TVs. 

If you don’t speak very limited or no Spanish this is the perfect to go if you want to meet some people you can actually talk to without a dictionary.  Most likely you’ll see a group of guys wearing the jersey of your favorite team when you walk in the door.

If you get hungry during the game don’t sweat, Mac’s American Bar has the menu to match it’s guests wants.  From Burgers and Fries, to wings, nachos, jalapeno poppers and quesadillas Mac’s has all the food you love to eat during the game, and of course they’ve got the Imperial to wash it down with.  To top that off draft beers are only 500c during games, if that doesn’t get you there nothing will.
