Villa Caletas was one of the most amazing hotels I have visited here in Costa Rica. Located about a twenty-minute drive from Jaco center, it’s on top of a beautiful mountain with wonderful views of the ocean and the nature around it. The infinity pool was a nice place to sit and relax for the day. The closest beach to the hotel is on the property. A shuttle service will you take to the semi-private beach, where you will find a bar and a place to relax.

The down side of this beach is that it is very rocky, and it is not recommended to swim bare footed. I stayed in one of their junior suites, which I enjoyed very much. After a day in Jaco center, it was nice to come to my room and relax in the Jacuzzi in the balcony with a spectacular view of the ocean. Pretty much every where you go in this hotel, the views are beautiful, however, the best view is definitely at the amphitheater, where you can take in the wonderful sunsets. As beautiful this place is, I was not impressed with the restaurant. The food was not the best and a bit pricy, but still made for an enjoyable evening. Over all, the experience at Villa Caletas was absolutely great. I would especially recommend it for couples.
