Experiencing a Brazilian Feast in Costa Rica
The other night I experienced a Brazilian feast for the first time and I will be the first one to say I would go back in a heart beat.
Immediately when you enter the Brazilian Steakhouse, you are welcomed by several employees dressed in traditional Brazilian wear and a big smile. We must have looked like we were in shock when we entered the restaurant because there was a huge buffet and several waiters walking around with huge pieces of meat and giant knives. I had no clue what was going on.
Once at our table the waiter quickly took our drink order and told us the process behind the evening. We were able to go to the buffet as much as we like to get veggies, salads, beans, rice, sushi, and so much more. Then the waiters with the meat were constantly walking around and would stop at your table if you wanted meat or not. They offered every type of steak imagined, chicken, and pork in multiple variations.
It was a delicious meal, but we all walked out feeling a bit over stuffed but content. If you ever have a chance to visit a Brazilian Steakhouse I would highly recommend it not only for the food but for the experience as well. The one that I went to was in La Sabana near downtown San Jose.
