El Establo Monteverde Lodge
Last weekend I went to El Establo Hotel in Monteverde Costa Rica and I had a great time there. The hotel staff was very friendly and very kind and the hotel it’s huge! What I liked the most it’s that they try to conserve the environment and help the community.
They have systems to protect nature, for example they have an internal water treatment. They also have an internal electric plant (it seems that in Monteverde light goes off all the time).
El Establo is the only hotel in Monteverde with security guards (they have never had a robbery inside the hotel) and the only one that has a pool.
Right now, they are building 20 more rooms and they try to maintain and innovate the hotel to keep it fresh. Also, they want to put a yoga rancho near the spa. This hotel is on a hill, and the landscape it’s beautiful.
What I liked the least was the food, in my opinion it was not good, but they are building a new restaurant with different specialties. (Hope this one is better)
It’s an excellent place to relax and enjoy nature.
