Cala Luna… escape from reality in Costa Rica

Costa Rica hotel Review - Cala Luna
Over the weekend I had the opportunity to visit Cala Luna Boutique Hotel and Villas and was very impressed! As we were greeted by the very friendly Manager, Jonathon, we were shown around the delightful grounds where I was more than impressed. The hotel is located on Playa Langosta where it enjoys all the amenities of the local town of Tamarindo but far away enough to be a sanctuary from all the hustle and bustle.
There are 20 deluxe rooms and 21 luxury villas, all privately surrounded by silver palm, fragile hibiscus and vibrant bougainvillea flowers. All basic amenities in the rooms are included from air conditioning to a secluded patio terrace. The villas have 2 bedrooms with all the little touches taken care of from their own personal pool to the high tech sound system.
As you walk into the brightly Mediterranean-coloured lobby, it has an open air feel and a very relaxing but up beat vibe. The gardens are in pristine condition and border the spotless blue swimming pool. As you walk past the pool and down the cute sandy path, about 100 meters away you will be on the beautiful sandy beach of Playa Langosta. The sunsets here are to die for making it a very popular destination for weddings and special occasions.
A stay at Cala Luna will leave you with infinite memories of tropical paradise. You will enjoy every moment of your stay and not want to leave because heaven has never been so close to reality before.
