Arenal Paraiso
For those headed to the Arenal Area on their next vacation, Arenal Paraiso may be a prime location for the time being…
This hotel has a lot to offer, quality and service are included in this list: its own hot springs, canopy tour on the property, pool with wetbar, Spa, Gym, outdoor Jacuzzi, and two restaurants. The price here is also very affordable, at under $100 per night, they have over a hundred rooms so you won’t have to worry about availability. Like aways, you get what you pay for with Arenal Paraiso! The service is unfriendly, ants are everywhere, and the hotsprings are a greenish brown color (which they said were minerals, but the other hotsprings in the area had clear water). The rooms do not have alarm clocks so good luck making it to the free breakfast buffet. The rooms have tvs but the reception is terrible.
I would not suggest this hotel for anyone who cares about having an ant free room, or who wants clear water hot springs. If you just want an affordable place with a good view of the volcano than this is the place for you.
