As Costa Rica starts to roll into the slower months now lots of Costa Rica luxury hotels have started to offer some great incentives to visit them during the months of August through December 15th. Costa Rica Taco Heaven

After 2 weeks I have finally found it. I have found my favorite place to eat here in Costa Rica. I often think to myself, “if I had to have one type of food for the rest of my life, what would it be?” Every time, I respond with tacos! There are so many variations [...]

Real Addresses for Costa Rica… finally!

2oo years after the rest of the world, Costa Rica finally decided it was time to use street numbers for addresses.

Scuba Diving in Costa Rica

Having recently moved to San Jose, Costa Rica I constantly hear about the many activities that tourists and locals enjoy within the country. This past weekend while in Manuel Antonio National Park, relaxing on beautiful white sand beaches and looking off into the clear blue waters, I began to wonder about the wildlife inhabiting the [...]

Sloths and Flats

The uniqueness of this country is derived in the natural beauty, the people, and the local species.  Each making this place that much more unique. If one is off, the whole country is off balance, as everything plays a huge role in the country’s individuality.  [...]

A Natural Wonderland

The natural beauty is the number one thing that draws tourists to Costa Rica every year.  It’s no wonder why.  The country has 1,077,308 hectares (or 10,773.08 square kilometers) protected, which is over 21% of the entire country.  This number is extremely high compared to the rest of the world.  In fact, Costa Rica has [...]
