Legendary Metal Group Iron Maiden to Return to Costa Rica

Iron Maiden Was Greeted with Overwhelming Support at Last Year’s Concert.
Iron Maiden will return to Costa Rica this March 3rd to host its second sold-out concert in just over a year in the Central American country. Their last appearance in February 2008 was a momentous event for all Central American metal heads who traveled to Costa Rica from as far as Mexico hoping to catch a glimpse of the English heavy metal group in concert.
This year’s concert has already sold out of regular tickets, according to ticket vendor Evenpro Costa Rica, though a few VIP tickets remain. To meet the high demand from outside the country, the company had to open a new ticket sales office in El Salvador.
The concert will be hosted at the Alejandro Morera Soto stadium, home of La Liga soccer team in Alajuela. Iron Maiden has promised that the concert will be distinct to the last one, with more equipment and pyrotechnics that were not used last time. The lineup will include songs from their first four disks including “Iron Maiden”, “Killers”, “The Number of the Beast” and “Piece of Mind”.
The group will arrive one day before the concert and will depart the day alter to continue their South American tour. The tickets cost anywhere between $20 and $75.
