Costa Rica Food To Go, smaller than you think

Always order twice as much whne ordering take away at Rosti pollos Costa Rica
Rosti Pollos is one of Costa Rica’s biggest chain food restaurants.

One of the great things about Costa Rica is the fact that if you want to go out for dinner you do not have to break the bank. One of the greatest things about Costa Rica is that you can call most restaurants and they will deliver, you can have McDonalds or Taco Bell at your house in under 10 minutes, where as in the United States and United Kingdom if you want McDonalds you better get into you car.

Typically when you order food the process is easy as you just order like you were in a restaurant and then they pick up your phone number and know where you live. When the food arrives you pay the driver either with cash or card and his services will cost you about 700 colones or about $1.50.

However, now getting to the point of story. On ordering with Rosti Pollos, which is like a Roast Chicken and  everything-else-chicken restaurant, always be sure to order twice as much as you would typically order in the restaurant. The reason for this is beacuse as ‘Helena’ of Rosti Pollos Express line puts it, it is the policy of the restaurant to always give you less in their express delivery as this is the POLICY of the Company. What kind of a restaurant gives people less for the same money, especially when they are paying extra for the delivery?

Upon arrival of my order of the regular Arroz con Pollo, it was shocking the small amount of rice and chicken, it was like a kids meal, maybe we would have gotten more with the kids’ meal??

Typically I do not consider myself a complainer, however when I am hungry I get anxious, and now I am angry as Rosti Pollos who have blatantly duped me. An e-mail has been sent to Rosti Pollos, however I wonder if they will return the e-mail? I think not, we shall keep you updated.
