I think there are actually names for many of the streets that currently lack signs, but apparently no one knows these names. 

Then there are probably other streets for which there never was a name.

It will be interesting to see what comes of this effort. Google already has Costa Rica from satellite view, but with no street names in most places.

I wonder whether the taxicab drivers will learn the new street names. Imagine being able to give a taxi driver a street address! Or at least a nearby intersection.</description>
