Here Comes the Rain
Break out your heavy duty umbrella and ¨winter¨ coat, the heavy rain has already started in the Central Valley and the Pacific coast and is expected to stay at least until the end of the week.Â
The National Meteorological Institute (IMN) has reported a low pressure system that will bring heavy rains and winds to the Pacific area and the Central Valley. It will also cause the temperature to drop well below normal especially in the morning and evening.
The heavy rain should last approximately for the next three days and residents in low lying areas and by rivers are urged to take some preventative actions. This warning is pretty much for all areas of the country except the Caribbean coast.  Â
The heavy rain has already caused quite a few problems for the country. Many people have experienced damage to their homes, flooding, mud slides, and even lost their homes this green season.Â
The rain will not be stopping this month as the green season typically goes. October is notorious for being the rainiest month but the IMN has already predicted the rainy season to last well into November.
