Bilingual Job Fair in Costa Rica

This Thursday, Friday and Saturday the Costa Rican North American Cultural Center (CCCN) has organized its second fair promoting Costa Rica jobs to the linguistically savvy.
The fair, which will begin at 9am in the Mark Twain Library, will serve as an opportunity for people who are fluent in both English and Spanish to turn in CVs and interview with eleven companies that are currently looking to fill 2,000 vacant positions within the country.
Most of the positions have to do with business administration, client services, systems engineering, accounting, software engineering, industrial engineering and finances.
The companies include: Philip Morris, Procter & Gamble, Intel, Hewlett Packard, Sykes, HSBC, Credomatic, Manpower, and the following call centers: Qualfon, People Support and Stream.

CINDE, the Coalition of Development Initiatives estimates that there will be about 12,000 vacant positions for bilingual personnel in 2008.
