The Prize: a FREE vacation to Costa Rica worth $3,000, Sept. 13 - Sept. 19, 2008.
The 5-star rooms are already booked, and all ground transportation is included. Our lucky winner must be able to travel to Costa Rica on Sept. 13 through Sept. 18, 2008. Flights to Costa Rica, extensions or additions to your stay can be organized through Costa Rican Vacations, but are not included.
Day 1: The vacation will start when you are whisked from the San Jose International Airport by one of CRV’s representatives in a private transfer shuttle to spend your first night at the Hotel Alta in Santa Ana, San Jose in a valley view Deluxe Room, with your next day’s breakfast included at the exquisite on site La Luz restaurant.
Day 2 - 3: From San Jose you will private transfer to the Arenal region to stay at the amazing and majestic La Mansion Arenal in a beautiful private Deluxe Cottage. You will stay here for 2 nights and enjoy the local culture or organize tours to see the volcano. The Arenal Volcano is the 3rd most active in the world and erupts on average every 48 minutes. At night, volcano watching is a tradition as the fiery hot lava can be seen from miles away flowing down the conical mountain.
Day 4 - 6: Finally you will take a private transfer — just the 2 of you and an English speaking driver — to the beach town of Manuel Antonio, which has grown thanks to its proximity to one of the most popular national parks in the country. Your transfer will take you through the mountains and along the Pacific Coast for about 2 hours where you will be able to see some beautiful views.
You will arrive at Manuel Antonio to stay for 3 nights at the new and amazing Arenas del Mar resort right on the beach in Manuel Antonio. Arenas del Mar offers a luxury stay in one of Costa Rica’s finest locations with one of Costa Rica’s finest levels of service.
Day 7: For your last day you will be taken in another private transfer back to San Jose for your flight home.
