It was June, the year 1987, and I was on my way to Wisc. to see my daughter for the first time. I gave her up for adoption when I was 17 and she was 19 now. I was really excited and took the plane ride from Az. to her town. I have been on many flights but this one was especially turbulant.
I sat next to a woman and her male friend from Germany. She shared with me the places they traveled and as the plane rocked back and forth, I was thinking I’ll never make it and felt sick for the first time. I put my head down because I was feeling dizzy and her friend (who didn’t speak english) thought I was preparing for an emergency landing. I thought he was trying to hijack the plane and was going to shoot me because I couldn’t understand him and I started yelling “Don’t shoot me, I just want to see my daughter.” The stewardess came over and sorted it all out. Well, during this time remember OJ running through the airport? Some of you are old enough well, I could have beat him off that plane. I was very embarrassed. My luggage was the last to be picked up.
